San Pedro Bay Ports’ (SPBP) Truck Voucher Incentive Program
The San Pedro Bay Ports Truck Voucher Incentive Program (VIP) is designed to help drayage fleets transition to zero-emission trucks. The program provides point-of-sale funding that lowers the purchase cost of eligible battery-electric and hydrogen fuel cell Class 8 drayage trucks.
By reducing upfront expenses, the program helps fleets invest in cleaner technology while supporting the Ports’ ongoing commitment to improving air quality and reducing emissions from freight transportation.
Administered by Catalyst Mobility™, formerly CALSTART, the program will offer $60M in vouchers for eligible drayage trucks operating at the San Pedro Bay Ports, with increased amounts for qualifying small business fleets.
Dealerships who have completed HVIP Dealer training and are approved under California’s HVIP program are approved to handle all voucher requests and redemptions for this program. The incentive also stacks with HVIP and other eligible incentives, giving fleets more ways to reduce costs.
